BarTab Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using BarTab ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. BarTab is developed and published by Privdev ("we", "us"). If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use BarTab on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the App except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Purchases

BarTab is free to download. An optional Pro upgrade is available as an in-app purchase, processed entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. Payments, receipts, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms; we never receive or store your payment information. Restoring purchases is available on any Mac signed in to the same Apple Account.

4. Browsing the Web

BarTab is a web browser built on Apple's WebKit framework. The websites you visit are operated by third parties: their content, their terms, and their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the websites and services you access through the App.

BarTab includes optional content blocking (ad and tracker filtering). Blocking is performed locally on your device. Some websites may not function correctly with blocking enabled; you can disable it at any time in the App's settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BarTab for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, or impair any service or network. You may not use the App to infringe the rights of others.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

BarTab is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Privdev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update the App and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
